A Nourishing Monthly Meet up

What do you get when you combine coffee, cake, a buzzing atmosphere and an inspiring story of triumph? Another incredible Bishop’s Stortford monthly meet up at the Green Dot Cafe!

In March, we were delighted to welcome a mix of familiar faces and first-timers to our relaxed and uplifting networking event. If you’ve attended one of our meet ups before, you’ll know how much we love to shine the spotlight on our members, giving them the opportunity to share their stories, passions and businesses..

Member spotlight: Meet Hayley from Balanced Female Nutrition

This month’s spotlight featured Hayley, a passionate nutritional therapist who took us on a heartfelt journey through her own health struggles. Her story was filled with frustration, enlightenment, and ultimate triumph. Everything you’d want from a truly inspiring showcase.

Hayley reminded us that nutritional therapy isn’t about strict dieting or cutting out everything you love. Instead, it’s about:

  • Working with a trained professional.

  • Listening to your body’s unique needs.

  • Providing it with the nourishment it craves.

Her message? Nutrition is powerful. From skin issues like eczema to intimate challenges like vaginal dryness, focusing on nutrition can support and transform our wellbeing in ways we often don’t realise.

A story of empowerment: Taking back control

Hayley’s journey began when health issues stood in the way of her starting the family she longed for. After feeling dismissed by traditional medical channels (ahem, certain male GPs), Hayley took matters into her own hands.

Through nutritional changes and a deep understanding of her body, she became pregnant within just three months. Her experience was a powerful reminder that as women:

“We’re often left in the dark about our bodies and too ashamed to speak up about our challenges.”

Hayley’s story encouraged us all to step into the light, take control of the conversation and prioritise our health.
