A Sunny Morning of Connection & Collaboration

The UK weather can be unpredictable, but yesterday, Thremhall Park in Bishop’s Stortford basked in the sunshine as it hosted our latest Rising Tide Collective networking event.

There’s something magical about bringing like-minded entrepreneurs together, but experiencing it in the great outdoors under the bright sun added an extra spark of inspiration.

Networking in the historic grounds of Thremhall Park

For the first time, we gathered in the beautiful and historic walled gardens of Thremhall Park, a modern coworking space serving Bishop’s Stortford and the surrounding areas. The serene environment was the perfect backdrop as over 25 female entrepreneurs and business owners came together to:

  • Share their visions, progress and pro-tips.

  • Inspire and support one another.

  • Experience those all-important “Ah-ha!” moments we live for at our events.

One of those moments came when a fellow business owner introduced the group to Instagram’s “Sharing QR Code” feature, a game-changing way to link prospective clients directly to your socials. If you haven’t tried it yet, here’s how:

  1. Open your Instagram profile.

  2. Tap the “Share Profile” button.

  3. Find your personalized QR code, and style it to match your brand.

Simple, clever, and just one example of the valuable insights shared during our meet-ups.

Spotlight on Estelle Kerby: Web Design & Branding Specialist

This month’s showcase spotlight belonged to Estelle Kerby, founder of Studio Mindset, a talented web designer and branding specialist. While public speaking isn’t her natural inclination, Estelle impressed us all with her courage and expertise as she shared her vision for helping business owners bring their branding dreams to life.

Estelle’s core services include logo and website design, but she didn’t stop there. For those just starting out, she shared three invaluable tips for building a strong online presence:

  1. Start now. Use free tools like Canva or Wix to design your logo or website. It doesn’t have to be perfect—just something that represents your business and makes you happy.

  2. Be consistent. Use the same colors and imagery across all platforms to create a cohesive and professional brand identity.

  3. Showcase your unique skills. Highlight your strengths, include testimonials, and ensure your website is mobile-friendly for easy navigation.
