Friday we had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Zoe's workshop all about tax and how having the knowledge can benefit our small businesses. Two things are certain: we, as women, needed to be taught these things from a young age and Zoe can make tax a fun subject.
Do the letters H-M-R-C scare you? Us too...but we don't know why! Zoe was able to humanise HMRC and take them from being "scary" to just doing their job (as long as we are too). And thats where some frustration lies: why weren't we taught these tips and tricks in school? Life skills that could benefit us from the age of 18 through life passed us by and we're not into it. However, fear not, because Zoe is here to save the day.
